altered State Tours and tastings

For private parties, tours and tastings, please contact the distillery directly via email at info@alteredstatedistillery.com 

We do our best  to accommodate private tours and tastings whenever possible. It is best if you contact us in advance to schedule, but if you are visiting and the owner is available, he would be happy to take you on a tour of our production space. Tastings are available during open hours and can be conducted by any of our front of house staff. You are always welcome to try our spirits before purchase. Our kitchen is now open. Click on the "Dining" tab for more information. Please ask our staff about current selections.

We host more live local and regional music than just about anyone in Erie !!!

Altered State Distillery is a strong supporter of  local and regional musicians,  breweries, wineries, artists and farmers

Visit us Tuesday through Thursday from 4-6 for happy hour.  Enjoy live local and regional music every Friday and Saturday night from 7-10 pm year round, select Thursdays in the winter/spring, and Sunday Brunch Sessions. Or stop in for a cocktail or a tasting anytime! Keep an eye on our socials for Trivia Nights, Music Bingo, Paint & Sips, Movie Nights and for sign-ups our fall Curling League!!

Open Decks at Altered State

Thursday. Sept 25th 7-10

Join us Thursday, Aug 28th for OPEN DECKS NIGHT at Altered State Hosted by Mitch Miller
All experience levels & genres are accepted and beginners are encouraged! This is your chance to experience playing on a stage with club-level sound system. Showcase your mixing skills or original music. There will be assistance available on how to use the gear and DJing basics if needed
Pioneer decks will be available for use or bring your own gear to play on
Prepare enough music on a USB to play for 30 minutes. If you are not bringing your own gear, it is required to analyze your tracks through Rekordbox (free download - instructions on import/export here: https://youtu.be/wR8NJhLdFlI?feature=shared and https://youtu.be/BreGTSvA9lE?feature=shared)
Bring your own headphones (headphones must have an aux input)
This is a dance party, invite your fans to support you!

West Bayfront Porch Fest Official Afterparty with Dirty Leaf

Saturday. Sept 27th 7-10

Swing by before, during, and after Porch Fest to keep the good vibes rolling! Fuel up with scratch-made food, stock up on bottles of our spirits, or grab cocktails to-go for sipping on your favorite porches.
Then cap off the night on OUR porch with Logan B & Dirty Leaf — a local American Roots Rock collective bringing the grand finale to Porch Fest 2025, live from 7–10 PM at Altered State Distillery.

Rocky Horror Picture Show Outdoor Viewing at Altered State

Saturday. Oct 4th  7-10

Fasten your garter belt! It’s an OUTDOOR screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show!! Just in time for Spooky Season! Starring Tim Curry, Barry Bostwick, Susan Sarandon and rock star Meat Loaf, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is considered one of the most popular cult classics of all time.
Party starts at 7pm. Come early to get a good spot!
Viewing begins at 8pm.
Come up to the lab and see what’s on the slab! Dress to impress as your favorite Rocky Horror character practice your Time Warp as audience partici.....pation is encouraged and prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed!!
APPROVED props are as follows: newspapers, squirt guns, bubbles, flashlights, rubber gloves, noisemakers, toilet paper, neoprene toast, party hats, bells, cards, neoprene hot dogs, and neoprene prunes. Oh! And BRING A CHAIR (and a lab coat, it might get chilly).
PLEASE NOTE: While we encourage everyone to have a fabulous time, certain items are difficult to clean-up. Please do not throw confetti or rice, (bubbles are nice) and be sure to leave your area as clean as you can, since we share the parking lot with our neighbors.
In the event of rain/wind/extreme cold, we may have to move this event inside where seating will be first come first-served and audience will be limited to adults 21+
